PS Vita Missing UMD Passport program in the West
It is known that Japanese buyers PS Vita their PSP games they have purchased on UMD, on the UMD Passport program register on PSN and so recharge the PS Vita. We will give this possibility does not, however, as Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida clarified now again: "The system was introduced in Japan, where a much higher demand for PSP titles there . "said Yoshida , "If you take a look Throw on the release list, you can see that in Japan continues many PSP titles will be published and announced.
Many people who want to try PS Vita like, are still at play PSP titles is interested, they may have purchased before Vita was published. " Another argument against such a program in the West called Yoshida partly very favorable PSN prices from us: "When you with the prices here compare, then PSP titles available in Japan at much higher prices, making the people the equivalent see if they invest an additional five to ten U.S. dollars in a digital copy. But when the games are sold in the U.S. at a lower price, we see little sense in it, so set up a system. The combination of the lack of new titles and the price difference led to the decision of the company ", stated Yoshida

PS Vita Screen Protector anti-reflective model
Protective Filter for superlative model Products adopted the material sputtering AR of special processing that is used in the TV of high-end model called (anti-reflection) that you've kept the reflection to the limit, 99.7% of anti-reflective 96.8% transmittance, haze Cloudy (phenomenal numbers of 0.2%) are arranged in the package.
The package includes a filter for the screen and one that is shipped with a cleaning cloth fabric small. Paste method is the thing that peel off the release film and paste a standard if you think of it as a filter does not fail Paste. There are series, where a little lonely.
I've gotten and paste it into practice, this filter is "Screen Type" stick only to the extent of the organic EL display. By the larger size of the filter is approximately 2mm in both vertical and horizontal than the display. But it will point it put a well-balanced in the center of the display for margins does not appear unnaturally Therefore, PS Vita Because that would not be seamless without frame display, filter screen type is a little alignment with the center of the screen there is a difficult place.
Had better look at the balance put on the screen filter before pasting. In addition, the border of the screen is so difficult to understand the power-off state, when you paste had better not be turned on will be easy to do.
Looking paste, easy but hard to deal with can also filter air bubbles with a Ball better. It also seems moderately hardness, and Harrell filter to clean it even if you add the air of dust contamination.
High rate of anti-reflective overwhelming, honestly puzzled about. Photo but I put a filter that only the right half of the screen, color and taste changes so far Appearance of the screen after pasting, the original screen and changed quite come. It is because color change comes very clearly the screen is compared with the high rate of anti-reflection, do not put anything. The thing that I think the color of the display was cut as much as possible the impact of this indoor light, surprised by the height of its effects. Where there is a screen will be visible to the finer, (such as the Lock screen, for example), but clearly visible straight black color in particular is felt.
On the other hand, the magnitude of change that might be a little confusing. But some changes in the impression to the screen is large and the reflection of blue light is reflected. In addition, the edge is so prominent in appearance portion of the margin slightly protruding from the screen was changed to black and clear of the housing. These places, the expression "natural color" does not fit a little. Maybe you have to be familiar with and understanding of the characteristics of the filter. Anyway, I quite special filter.
Well-balanced feel closer to the feel of the touch screen does not put anything, there is moderate resistance and slip. Easily comparable with the fingerprint screen does not put anything. Impression about the same screen and I have not put anything wipe ease

PlayStation Vita Review
The PS Vita is characterized by still the "hard a large spread new possibilities have been added touch" PS Vita is. There is plenty of precedent only if the touch of course, touch the front and back is possible for a single screen, hard buttons that has a full-fledged analog stick and further are not available.
And have set foot in "fused operations also touch button operation" that take advantage of its features also new game titles in the UI. Its freshness, it should give the impression of a completely new portable game machine.

PlayStation Vita: Games and Controls
Biggest and best games
The PSP's UMD software has been thankfully scrapped for Flash-based storage cards, but as well as physical products, the Vita will also be download driven. Several games have been announced for the device, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Hustle Kings, Everybody's Golf Next (Hot Shots Golf Next in North America) as well as new iterations of Killzone, Wipeout 2048, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II Plus, Ridge Racer and Call of Duty. In addition, several third-party studios showcased technology demos of the device by exporting existing assets from their PlayStation 3 counterpart and then rendering them on the device. Some of the games that were demonstrated include Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Yakuza Of the End, and Lost Planet 2. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was also demonstrated to be running on the device to showcase the device's backwards compatibility with downloadable PlayStation Portable titles, which was also shown to be compatible with the PlayStation Vita's additional analogue stick. Unlike the first PSP, the PlayStation Vita will come with Trophy support for games.
Open new ways to play
There are also control inputs aplenty - the familiar Sixaxis button and motion controls supplemented by a touch screen, a rear touch panel and cameras front and back. The buttons on the face of the Vita are tight and responsive. Its D-pad is a departure from the PSP's. It doesn't feature four separate pieces. Instead it is a multidirectional dial that doesn't seem to allow for the precision the PSP's D-pad does.
The PS Vita has a touch-sensitive back so you can control the on-screen action without hiding it behind your fingers. The rear touch panel is smooth and can sense multiple touch gestures and contact points at once. The screen's multi-touch too. The combination of a touchy front and back is fascinating - Sony talks about it enabling "touch, grab, trace, push and pull hand movements." implementation of these seems a few new tricks; in Uncharted: Golden Abyss, you can adjust your view simply by titling the screen in the direction Drake is looking. Or Little Big Planet where you can plot your moves through the new touch screen technology. Or, select a club in Hot Shots Golf just by tapping your intended target on-screen.
Sony is also clearly aiming at new audiences with problems adapting to new functions - It’s amazing, in a way, that we already take accelerometer control for granted. The PS Vita includes a three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer and three-axis electronic compass for handheld-waggling motion-controlled tomfoolery.

PlayStation Vita: Design and Weight
The device features a "super oval"-shape similar to the design of the original PlayStation Portable, with a 5-inch (130 mm) OLED capacitive touchscreen in the center of the device. The device features two analog sticks (unlike the PSP which features only a single analog "nub"), a D-pad, a set of standard PlayStation face buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross and Square), two shoulder buttons (L and R), a PlayStation button and Start and Select buttons.
We were expecting much more of a heavy, bulky feel-like we first experienced with the original PSP back in 2005. Surprisingly, despite the PS Vita’s large 5-inch OLED screen, the device is extremely light. We left our first-gen PSP back at home, but we can say, we felt a considerable difference in weight. We’ve concluded that the lack of an optical drive (UMD) could have significantly decreased the weight.
What is clear is that the structural bulk allows Sony to make a hand-held that is truly comfortable to hold. No smartphone control compromises, no utilitarian square edges - this is an ergonomic star. Sony's taken stock of the PSP's many flaws and fixed them - the horrible bevelled analogue disc has been replaced by quite incredible dual analogue sticks that are responsive and a joy to use, the harsh lines of the unit rounded to fit nicely in your hand, the PS buttons smaller and less clunky. Uncharted: Golden Abyss plays as close to the PS3 original as you could wish to hope for, long-distance gunning against multiple enemies from behind cover very effectively translated due to the combination of the impressive screen resolution and the tactile joysticks. Call of Duty and FIFA are going to play like a dream.
The PlayStation Vita specifications are pretty tasty
The PSP's replacement has a five-inch, 16 million color 960x544 OLED touchscreen, twin cameras, twin speakers, two turntables and a microphone. We're lying about the turntables.
You also get twin analogue sticks and a ridiculously powerful quad-core processor based on the ARM Cortex A9, the same kind of processor you'll find in many top-end tablets. Expect four to five hours of battery life.

Sony PlayStation and the names PSVita Vita now in Europe to register the fact, as from an entry in EU Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office. Also PSVita logo (see below) has registered by Sony. PSP games can run in higher resolution on NGP
Already yesterday was known the NGP / PSVita can also play PSP games from the PSN Store. Now reported that the PSP games are shown on the screen of the new handheld in higher resolution.
PSP games downloaded on the NGP will be able to benefit from the improved hardware. The graphics of those games can be upscaled (the NGP's resolution is almost double that of the PSP) to make them seem smoother and hopefully much better. This will support full backwards compatibility with the PSP's enormous library of games.
For example, Resistance Retribution has been shown working on the NGP. Now the original graphic by its higher resolution raised the value. PSP games downloaded for the NGP will also be able to utilize some of the new features it offers, second analog stick can be used to rotate the camera, greatly improving gameplay.

Gameplay Videos: Uncharted Golden Abyss
When the NGP/PSVita launches, Uncharted is certainly set to be the most popular game. The game has a nice combat gameplay and you never feel a need for another kind of controller, a keyboard or a mouse. For example, your character engages a squad of hostiles and takes cover so when you return fire the pointer is always near one of the hostiles – the game assists you in targeting greatly simplifying the process.
At some points you can use the touchscreen and the G-sensor in the game: when the character needs to over some logs instead of using the arrows you can scroll through the logs on the screen. Another example: when jumping over pits you can tilt the console a bit while pressing forward and jump to increase the jumping range of your character. The game uses your natural moves – just remember how often you shake the gamepad trying to push your character.
The graphics is excellent – Uncharted game is an excellent representation of what the NGP is truly capable of. The extra graphics power allows the game to show perfect design and intricate shadows and light textures. What is important is that all these details actually create a world and you don't notice any flaws that would put you out of picture. Uncharted is a very cinematic game – there are a lot of script scenes and spectacular camerawork, close-ups and panoramas and it all looks very nice.

NGP can play PSP downloadable titles
Prior Sony released fresh batch of games for the NGP. The manufacturer confirmed this also: The NGP is also able to play PSP games. The statement is of course only for PSP titles, the PlayStation Store available. As the new handheld without the UMD drive is therefore known.
You can obtain PSP games from the PlayStation Store to play on the NGP. Resistance: Retribution is one example. Sony themselves confirmed so far in Resistance: Retribution , that one of the NGP can use the dual sticks - a feature that allows becomes likely that the shooter in his time with a PS3 Dual Shock controller had been playing well.

"No clear competitor to NGP" says Sony
Even the handheld is not on the market, but Shuhei Yoshida , president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios seems very much the PSP successor to be convinced of the future. He said in an interview with Eurogamer.net are some statements about the NGP
"There is no clear competitor in the area in which works the NGP. The handheld will be established as a special device that people are asking for. NGP cannot be placed against smartphones. You can't make phone calls on it and it's too big to fit into your pocket."
Some commentators have suggested it's set to go head-to-head with Nintendo's 3DS when it launches later this year, but Sony doesn't see it that way.
"Compared to 3DS, it was very interesting – when we were designing the NGP we had no idea what Nintendo was going to do," Yoshida revealed. Aside from the 3D stereoscopic display, they seem to be keeping the same theme that they had with the DS – it feels like an update of the DS to me. Lots of choices we made were so different from their choices. It's kind of hard to compare the two, aside from the fact that both of them are dedicated gaming platforms."
That was the Sony boss expected to personally not a big kudos to the competition, should have been clear. But Yoshida said Sony and Nintendo had a common enemy: the cheap mobile game.
"We struggle with the same problem that makes Nintendo difficulties. It is up to us to show as a game developer and publisher of the people that the games are worth the money, and not like the competition a few cents. You cannot release the same content that you put on the iPhone for a dollar on to NGP or some other consoles and expect people to pay 20 times that."
SCEDev website named Vita has been found
PS Vita was rumoured to be the official name chosen by Sony for the NGP earlier in the week by various sources. To strengthen the rumor even further, a Sony development website named Vita has been found. The domain has launched with the URL being http://vita.scedev.net/
If you open the web address vita.scedev.net, you’ll land on a website shows Sony’s current gaming platforms available in the market as well as information about Sony Computer Entertainment. The website also has the following disclaimer announcing that it’s wholly owned by SCE: “The Developer Network sites are owned and managed by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc and its affiliates.”
Despite this strongly suggests that Sony are planning to use to name Vita for the official name of NGP. It remains to be seen in Sony’s E3 conference in June.

Golden Abyss - Subtitle of the Uncharted portable version?
Sony exclusive adventure franchise - Uncharted will be making a splash on the Next Generation Portable. As is true for Sony now is almost customary, seem to leak out in advance of this year's E3 various details about Sony's revelations.
Recently Naughty Dog co-president, Christophe Balestra had in an interview announced that the story before the first part PS3 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will play.
Whilst the details are relatively shallow right now, ripten.com has confirmed that Golden Abyss is a Subtitle of the Uncharted which will be announced soon, possibly at or prior to E3 2011.

Sony has the domains PlayStationVita.com
Only yesterday we reported on behalf of the allegedly final of the PSP's successor: PSVita. There are significant domain filings from the past that prove this is a legitimate PlayStation name.
Sony's registration for PlayStatation.NL, which is now UK.PlayStation.com, is registered by domain company ASCIO TECHNOLOGIES, INC.. Companies like Sony tend to use 3rd party domain companies instead of filing domains themselves to keep major projects under-raps before media can uncover it. With their track record, ASCIO is an official domain registering partner of Sony, and it just so happens that PlayStationVita.com is registered with that very company. We can safely assume that PlayStation Vita is a possible name for NGP. This does not confirm however that Sony will be indeed using the name as NGP's replacement. View the domain filing "who is" listings below citing the ASCIO domain company. Sony's E3 2011 press conference will reveal all.

Rumor: Final name of NGP is PSVita?
Original Piece: The ‘NGP’. The ‘Next Generation Portable’. This is code name for the successor of the PSP. But what is the final name?
Today we received some new, and exclusive, information from an "credible sources". The official name of the NGP! Rumor has it that the new Sony handheld will bear the name PS Vita. Vita is Latin/Italian for ‘life’. Does Sony hope to bring life back into their stock? Do they want to rejuvenate the PSP? Revitalize your needs for portable gaming?
Our source tells us that this will be the definite and final name of the new system Sony will bring out at the end of 2011. Sony is expected to give further announcements on the E3 next week.
In my opinion this is a very surprising name. Mainly because it will be the first innovative name Sony is using for any of its consoles/handhelds. This name is contrast to the usual numbered Sony devices, this would be the first time that is set to a more creative name. However the real shock was the specs of the device, which was essentially credited as a PS3 Portable with similar graphics.

NGP: Sony shows video of augmented reality technology
Sony no stranger to innovation and able to create an experience that changes the way we think about games. At this year’s Game Developers Conference , Sony showed off demos of augmented reality (AR) on NGP device. NGP builds on Sony experience with augmented reality over the years with PlayStation 2/EyeToy, PSP, and PS3/PlayStation Move. With front and rear cameras that combine real-time images of you and your environment, a brilliant 5-inch multi-touch OLED screen and rear multi-touch pad, internal motion sensors, and dual analog sticks, NGP offers new ways to interact with AR games.
Now, Sony published a video of the SmartARTechnology, augmented reality behind the capabilities of the NGP is. As can be seen in the video, the technique can involve ordinary objects in the game. It Is new, however, that it is not only AR-specific markers must set so that the objects are recognized:
Sony NGP AR System
To create real-life markers, you do not need a proprietary marker. For example, motion tracking technology used in movies requires blue or green markers, and Nintendo 3DS have been programmed to accept a particular card - without this card, you will not be able to have AR now. Sony is taking a giant step forward by using the markerless system. This technology can be used as a natural marker because it uses any flat object or surface in its environment as a real-time marker. The video shows object recognition and tracking that allows the device to be used on any flat surface. This will be available on the NGP and could very likely revolutionize virtual gaming.
The AR technology mainly uses “active camera” mechanics. Passive cameras are also used to take photos of the environment to map the game. One possible feature would be a replay of the real-time environment, which is highly likely considering the significant storage and processing power on the NGP.

Uncharted NGP version not be located between the first two titles in the series
After a long silence for the title, there are now some new information on the highly anticipated Uncharted offshoot for Sony NGP. As Naughty Dog co-president, Christophe Balestra in an interview announced is Uncharted NGP (Which still bears no fixed subtitles) time not be located between the first two titles in the series that have been made for PS3. The portable branch of the series is currently Uncharted 1. However, the game is not yet as Prequel thought, because that it is not just a simple introduction to the story Nathan Drake, It is a completely separate game do on its feet.
Moreover, in the course of the interview was announced that the gameplay slightly from the previous Uncharted titles to deviate to a better way to make games in shorter sessions. So shall be less shooting and for exploring more to offer to insert more time to breathe or to a pause. Furthermore, it is also in the development of Uncharted Portable with some of the actors worked together so we can probably expect from the portable branch cut scenes in the quality of the large versions.
There is no exact release date is, of course, as well as for Sony NGP itself, not yet. With an announcement at the upcoming E3 is likely.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will be the third major Lego game this year.
The surprise is likely to be limited: In a press release announced Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to develop Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, which appears in the fall of 2011 for a whole bunch of platforms - Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, DS, 3DS, PSP and NGP are served! (That NGP listing is curious, given that Sony has yet to confirm that their NGP will make it to America by year's end).
The game, which is based obviously on the last three Potter books is, the design tradition of the series faithful to, but (like its predecessor) offers more mysteries and puzzles, but less magic wand action - and of course lots of cut scenes with the famous Lego humor. Screenshots We have not identified, but for a teaser image.
The new Lego Harry Potter would be the third major Lego game this year, an unprecedented streak that nearly exhausts the existing movie and book tie-ins available to the franchise's caretakers. March's Lego Star Wars III covered the last bit of major Star Wars, the Clone Wars cartoon, that hadn't been given a Lego video game treatment. May's Lego Pirates of the Caribbean covered all four Pirates movies in one game.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, according to a Warner Bros. press release, based on the last three Harry Potter books and final four films, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 takes players through Harry Potter's heroic adventures in the Muggle and wizarding worlds. From Privet Drive in Little Whinging to Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and Hogwarts – plus new locations including Grimmauld Place, the Ministry of Magic, and Godric's Hollow – players will encounter new faces, new challenges and new magic, preparing them for the ultimate face-off against Lord Voldemort.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will be one of the first games on Sony's new portable console, currently known as the NGP, with Warner Bros Interactive targeting a launch between October and December 2011.
